In the wake of the Parkland massacre, the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility promoted a 2018 gun safety shareholder resolution at gun manufacturer Sturm Ruger that received 68% support. Ruger defied the vote and refused to meet, issuing a report about gun safety that read like NRA talking points. Their failure to respond reasonably to their shareholders led us to escalate our calls for accountability in 2019.
